Teaching Piano and Music Theory

Örnsköldsvik Gymnasium has two school buildings, Parkskolan and Nolaskolan.

We have a total of over 1800 students distributed across five college preparatory programs and ten vocational programs, as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. Örnsköldsvik Gymnasium is designated as a training school, which means that VFU students are a regular feature in the school.

Job Responsibilities

You will teach piano and music theory. Your work includes teaching, planning, documentation, and communication with students and guardians. The assignment also involves participating in collaborative work with subject and work teams.

Your responsibilities often include mentorship for a number of students. This involves significant responsibility for following up and supporting your mentees and actively participating in student health work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher at the upper secondary level with subject competence in music and instruments or singing. The position includes teaching piano. Other applicants whom the employer assesses to have equivalent competence may also be considered.
